Dr. Maria Freije has always been passionate about working with children. After developing an interest in healthcare and Dentistry, Dr. Freije completed her doctorate in Dentistry at the University of Montreal in 2015. She later completed a general practice residency at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. She continued working as a dentist at the Children’s Hospital and took care of many young patients with compromised health. She also participated in McGill University’s Refugee Clinic, where she worked as a teaching clinician to undergraduate dentistry students. There, she also helped care for children with no medical or dental coverage and in desperate need of dental treatments.
Dr. Selma Mohammedi
Dr. Mohammedi was born in Algeria, and raised in Montreal, Canada. She obtained her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degrees from the University of Montreal, followed by a one-year General Practice Residency at the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Montefiore Medical Center in NYC). Since then, Dr Mohammedi practiced in Wisconsin, Chicago, IL, and Plattsburgh, NY to be closer to her family and friends in Montreal. With numerous continuing education courses such as DSD Implant Dentistry- Implants surgical placement in São Paulo, Brazil, Endodontics, Invisalign Certification, and Complex wisdom teeth extractions in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Dr. Mohammedi sharpened her skills in all aspects of general dentistry.
Working in very busy dental offices and being exposed to a variety of treatments and procedures made her very comfortable practicing dentistry, and very knowledgeable in her field. She remains compassionate and patient, always with her patient’s best interests at heart. She strives daily to provide the highest quality dental care in a caring and comfortable environment.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world and learning about the latest news on politics and the economy. She also enjoys playing soccer, and tennis, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Alanjian obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the University of Montreal in 2006.
Dr. Alanjian also took the enriching opportunity in 2010 to practice as a locum dentist in Northern Manitoba. He then followed with a trip to Ecuador in Central America with the charity organization Dentist Without Borders.
He continues to advance his knowledge and expertise by staying up to date with evolving technologies in dentistry by attending many courses and seminars. He would be glad to answer any questions you might have to see how that might be applicable to your specific needs.
